Baltimore is a picturesque harbour village on the West Cork coastline and is a very popular sailing and watersports centre. There are a number of pubs, restaurants and a shop located in the village and the square is a hub for socializing.

In summer the village is a lively and bustling centre for all forms of water sports. There are two sailing schools and a sailing club which provide sailing courses for all levels. Other water based activities are whale watching, angling, diving, fishing, seafaris and charter sailing trips which are all available from the pier. There is also an excellent childrens playground in the village.

Baltimore is the gateway to the inhabited islands of Cape Clear, Sherkin and Heir. There are a number of ferry services operating from the pier which will take you to the islands.

Baltimore is approx 90 mins drive from Cork Airport and is situated 8 miles from Skibbereen town.
